Despite our best intentions “to get back to being more creative”, it often feels like everything is conspiring against our goals to do so.

There never seems to be enough time, and when we do finally wrest away a few precious moments to draw, we get frustrated by our technical shortcomings. What was meant as a relaxing time for self-care, ends with pencils thrown against the wall, papers crumpled in the trash and many huffs and grunts.

Trust me, I know this frustration well because I’ve been there myself. And yet, I still believe that drawing is the perfect practice to help you come back to your creative voice.
